Multi maker
jAlbum's Multi Maker allows you to make- and optionally upload multiple albums from the list of the displayed recent projects, in one go while you continue using jAlbum as normal. You can alternatively drag and drop a text file with a list of paths to the project files to be made. There is also an option to force remake the albums. As each album is being made, a progress report is displayed.
Table columns
The main table features the following set of sortable columns. Click the headers to sort the whole table by that column:
- Selected - Tick these checkboxes to mark a project to be made when the "Make selected" button is clicked
- Hot - Tick these checkboxes to mark a project as "hot". Hot projects are monitored for changes in the background. Once a change is detected, jAlbum will remake and optionally upload that project. You need to click the "Monitor hot" button to activate this monitoring. Once active, all jAlbum windows can be closed. The monitoring will run in the background, indicated by a frog icon in the status bar / tray bar or your computer. You can continue working with jAlbum as usual even if "hot monitoring" is running in the background. Note, jAlbum will remember if it was monitoring hot projects even if you close it and resume the monitoring once you've restarted jAlbum
- Name - The project's name
- Status - Displays the current project status. Displays a green progress bar during album making an a cyan progress bar during uploads
- Skin - The project's skin
- Last made - The date when this project was last made
- Last published - The date when this project was last uploaded
Right-click any table row to bring up a context menu for that project. The menu has the following items:
- Open project - opens that project within jAlbum's main user interface
- View local album - View the local album in your preferred browser
- View published album - View the final uploaded album in your preferred browser

Button panel
- Upload too - Checkbox to indicate that you wish to have selected or hot projects uploaded too after they're made
- Force remake - Force jAlbum to reprocess all images and videos as an album is being made. You should usually not need to check this checkbox
- Make selected - Make (and possibly also upload) projects marked as "Selected". You can continue working with jAlbum while this process runs in the background
- Monitor hot - Activates hot monitoring. See "Hot" checkbox above. Note, you cannot run hot monitoring AND make selected albums simultaneously
- Close / Abort. Closes the Multi Maker and lets it continue running in the background. If hot monitoring is active or the making of selected projects is active, this button serves to abort that process.
