Sample project

Save as default

Save as default

Makes the last added setting the default setting for new projects.

Server mode

Makes jAlbum monitor changes under the image directory and trigger automatic album updates.

Server mode with upload

As above but also uploads the album to your website. For proper operation, the output directory must NOT be under the image directory.

Set area tags

Set area tags... Used to identify faces or areas within an image.

Set crop focus

JAlbum>Explore>Contextual menus>On thumbnails>Set crop focus

Adjust the portion of the image to be used for its thumbnail/theme image.

Set application for 'Open with'

jAlbum>Explore mode>Contextual menu>On thumbnails>Open with application

Set the external application to be used to open objects outside of jAlbum.




Allows the user to select a particular setting from choices available or to enter their own data in the appropriate places.

Settings File

A file that contains all of the settings used to for a particular project, the default name is jalbum-settings.jap but any name can be used if “Save Project Settings As…” is used from the File Menu.

Each skin has its own settings that affect the look and feel of the generated album as well as specific functions, such as slide shows, album navigation, external links etc.

Slide Images

Images that are, usually, scaled down versions of an original image. The size of the image is defined in Image settings.
