„Hamburger“ + „Menu“ + „…“ ?

David,

I haven't seen any application which has a „Hamburger“-sign, a „Menu“ text and „…“.

We are in 2026, do you think there is one person left on the planet who doesn't know what a „Hamburger“-sign is?

So, please, get rid of the „Menu“ text and „…“. Because if the zoom in explore mode is on the lowest level all of this obstructes vital others parts of the GUI, see screenshots.

Tried it, but I get „jAlbum core update / No core update currently available“. But no problem, I think it will look good anyway.

ETA: And who's going to do the global search-and-replace for the text?

To access image and folder settings, hover on a thumbnail in the main jAlbum editing window, and click More.

Despite my pissing and moaning, I'm in favor of this change. In my skins, I've gradually eliminated things like tooltips on icons for next, previous, and close the modal. Anyone who needs a hint about what those icons are for shouldn't be using a computer.

I think it should be written into the T&Cs that users requesting changes to the GUI must update all affected wiki pages, should their request be implemented.

Rob, I did that in the past and I repeat it again. A big thank you for your efforts „running“ the wiki, which is excellent!

A few years ago you mentioned that it would be no problem to give me access to add or update the wiki too. But, first thing, what should I contribute, I'm having still more questions than answers.

Second, my „school English“ qualifies not for writing into the official help documentation of jAlbum.

I’ve updated all the affected pages I could find, ‘more’ is a very common term so finding just the relevant ones is a bit of a pain. Any missed will either be reported or not identified as an error
