Error generating Album in current version

There seems do be an error in the newest version of jAlbum when generating the album.
I added some data to my album (newest version, just downloaded). After generation there was an error.
Precondition (after some testing):
- The folder symbol (invisible on the web page) is the 1st preview
- There is an intro text after the folder symbol and before the 2nd preview
1. The caption of the first preview is shown as a text (e. g. intro.htt)
2. There is an empty room between text and the text of 1.
3. One image (in my case always the same, strange) is missing in the previews
4. The next previews have a wrong caption (caption is moved by 1)
Can i fix this somehow or is this a bug in album generation?

What i have done:
- I deleted the complete folder in jAlbum
- Created a new folder by Lightroom-Plugin-Workflow
- Genereated the album --> Everything fine
- Added Intro Text --> Error

(Thread moved to the Story forum section. Remember, the jAlbum core doesn't generate a single line of HTML, CSS, or Javascript, so layout problems are always skin problems.)

It's all caused by the new 'Show pages in the lightbox' setting (Design > Pages > Show pages in the lightbox). The album is OK if this setting is turned off; it is a mess if it is turned on.

I knew this would be a can of worms. I tested all the standard pages, but I couldn't test all the user-made pages.

The Intro text probably has an HTML formatting error, e.g., a missing </div>.

I checked this, but this should not be the reason.
1st:
When i enter text into a blank page, i enter the content either directly into the editor (not in the raw-html editor). All html-code like <div>, <p>
and so on are created by the editor.
2nd:
When i copy the text from any source, e. g. word processor, i put the content into notepad++ before i put it into jAlbums editor.
3rd:
This is the important point: Each page of my albums have something like an intro. All work fine online.
But after generating with the newest version of jAlbum/Story, all pages show the same effect. I changed only one page.

My apologies; I wrote it the wrong way around. When the Show pages setting is turned ON, the album is fine, but when the setting is turned OFF, the album is a mess.
And that's it. When turned on, everything is fine, the album is rendered as it was before.

That page was generated with Story v. 7.4.1. The reported problem is with Story v. 8.1.0.
That said, we need a link to a test album that illustrates the problem. And make sure the lifeboat file is included, so we don't have to play "Twenty Questions." Trying to diagnose a problem from a screenshot and some confusing verbal descriptions is miserable, and most of us won't do it.
I understand this, it is a mess to reproduce a bug without a system to analyze. Unfortunately i have no staging system (a Nas is under construction, but currently not available).
I such situations it could be helpful to have any log files to provide or something like this.
Fortunately the problem is solved.

I checked with the updated skin, but the error remains.
However, i can repair the rendering with the describes switch. as soon as i finished my changes i can upload the error version. This would allow to analyse the behaviour. |

Laza, here's a simple demo album. If custom content is shown on the page, like with an Intro.htt template, there's a large gap below the text. With About.htt material, that doesn't happen. There's nothing in there but a couple of paragraphs of lorem ipsum nonsense text. No HTML at all.
Validation reveals only a couple of CSS errors, which are present in all Story albums. So not relevant here.

ETA: I can't. comment on the "wrong title on the slide image" problem - I'm not seeing that.
ETA: Strangely, if I also check Show pages in the lightbox, the gap problem is fixed. The page isn't shown in a lightbox, however. I have no idea what the intent of that option is. |
