Hi Laza,

please watch and listen to this video. It's easier to show and tell what I'm after. :-)

Thanks in advance.

Take your hand off the mouse when you're watching a timed slideshow. It won't move by itself.

Jeff, the situation is: I'm sitting in my living room, friends or family around, and I'm giving a manual presentation. With a beamer (Panasonic PT-AE3000E) on a 100”.

This is not a timed slideshow.

Ah, I didn't realize there were victims involved. ;)

This might be the time to use the left- and right-arrow keys to go through the slideshow. That never causes the control bar to reappear.

The beamer compared to the „smaler“ devices. ;-)

This is the reason why I'm always making fun out of those folkes who watch pictures on tablets or even smartphones, just a waste of energy and time.

With smaller devices, it's also much more difficult to create a hostage situation.

Some are victims, others ask when the next show starts. :-)

Yes and no. It's much easier to have the mouse (of course a one with a cable) to be more flexible, instead of being „chained“ to the notebook. Years ago I had a kind of a pointer device, which was able to just emulate a <PageUp> or <PageDown>. And Laza was very cool to add <PageUp> or <PageDown> as previous and next. But this device is broken. And, a mouse, in the end is just more flexible.

Yes, I'm serious with these slide shows. :-)
