Sidebar custom content still showing after deletion

Here I am again....lol.

I had originally wanted to offer digial purchases, so I added copy in the Sidebar "custom content" to tell the customer I would email it to them after purchase.

I later decided to scrap that idea, and deleted the text in the Sidebar "custom content". But it still shows up on the folder pages.

I even did a "Force Remake" to be sure of what I was observing. Any ideas?

First, stop choosing Force Remake. All that does is cause the core to reprocess all of the images. Whatever problem you're seeing, it's not caused by thumbnails or slide images that aren't right!

Just a guess, but I'll wager you're telling jAlbum to Process only updated subdirectories. Changing settings doesn't make a folder/subdirectory "updated" - broadly speaking, only adding or deleting images makes a subdirectory "updated." With a JSON-driven skin like Photoblogger, that option should virtually never be chosen.

Jeff,

Thank you! You are correct, I had checked Process only updated subdirectories. Once clicked off, that fixed it all.

Up until now, I've just been using jAlbum to share galleries to friends and clients. But now, with the need to add a Shopping Cart made me really go "under the hood" to make it as easy to use an understand for the end user.

Force Remake - point well taken. I thought it just redid everything, but now know better.

Thank you again!

I've been using jAlbum long enough to know where the bodies are buried. ;)
