In Laza's defense, hunting down those single- and double-quote replacement needs is a miserable exercise. Music tracks are particularly bad, since their file names are often littered with special characters. It's a minefield.

When developing the Opus 16 skin, which is, by design, an "audio files" presenter, I ran into these kinds of problems constantly. My advice to users is contained at the bottom of this page:

Simplify your file names! Image files sometimes end up with messy names, but that's always user error. Audio files, however, often come out of ripping applications with godawful names, in spite of the user's best intentions.
