Anyone help with this annoying error please :-)
I have tried everything I can think of - changing url to Relative and absolute no joy, changing Gallery directory permissions to 755... Gallery folder is on same site as the wordpress website so don't think it is the cors...

Fingers crossed

Can you access the tree.json file in a web browser?
Is the rest of the album there? Can you view it in a web browser too?

Just tried that and no, I get a 404, tried the tree.json, index.html and an image from the gallery itself...
wondering any chance it could be the permissions ? I have the main Gallery folder as 755

It is usually never file permissions.

Can you access other files in the Upload folder?
What is the URL to the site so we can test?

What happens if you upload the album to a directory that is not under /wordpress?

(Just a hunch....)

What did you try?

Where did you place the album and which URLs have you tried?

When I mix Wordpress and non-wordpress content I always do what Jeff suggests and places the non-Wordpress files outside the folder with the Wordpress files.

Ok and "url" being?

Sure / is the root of your website? Not the folder named "wordpress"?
