I installed jAlbum 39.1 and Tiger 7.4.7 and everything seems to work as it did in 7.4.4, so at least my part of the problem is solved, thanks.

I was thinking about enlarging my images to 2000x2000, but I currently have 8676 images, so that would be a real undertaking...

Unless you have a very old PC, I think you'd be surprised at how quickly jAlbum will generate all the images. My PC is coming up on 8 years old, and it would dash through that many images in just a few minutes.

Uploading the new album, on the other hand, would probably be a long, dull, slog.
