In an album containing a folder with a web location pointing to another album, if I check "Show image count" and "Gather information from linked albums," the folder thumbnail displays the correct number of images: the number of images in the folder plus the number of images in the external album.
However, if I uncheck "Gather information from linked albums" and recreate the album (even with *Force remake*), the number displayed on the folder thumbnail remains unchanged, whereas I expected to see only the number of images in the folder.
Am I misunderstanding the purpose of the "Gather information from linked albums" option, or is there a bug?
