When I tried to Make Album with latest version of jAlbum 39.0.4 I get an java error

See attached for error log.

I re-installed 7.4.4 and it works OK again

Looks to me like cross-linked folders. I wonder why it works in the older version.

This is actually happening on both my jAlbum albums which have both been working okay with tiger versions before 7.4.5 so I would not think it's likely they both have cross linked errors.

Here is albumfiles.txt from one of them. As you can see they use linking via UNC paths.

The linked file or folder is probably in one of the subfolders. Unfortunately, the error message doesn't provide any clues about what is causing this. If you can't locate it, try excluding some of the top-level folders and see if that resolves the issue.

It was the line below that was the cause. When I selected the image to be the top level "Theme Image" thumbnail I selected it from the D: drive which is the copied images from the linked folders on the "WHS4" server that you see referenced in albumfiles.txt file above.
I have done this for years with no problem but something has changed somewhere that means this now creates an error. So I changed the "Theme Image" thumbnail to come from the source linked files on the WHS4 server. This fixed the issue in both my albums.
Bit of a nightmare when the logs give not hint where the problem is.
So the reference in albumfiles.txt changed from:

-20220920_182329.jpg	D:\jAlbum\My Albums\Justin's Albums\album\2022\2022-09-15 Barcelona\20220920_182329.jpg	1707315138	1663694609

-20220920_182329.jpg	\\whs4\jAlbum\Justin's Album\2022\2022-09-15 Barcelona\20220920_182329.jpg	1770064098	1663694609
