I’m seriously considering moving away from my current photo hosting company (they’re great, I would recommend them easily) and I’m currently looking at the options I have. JAlbum is high on my list but I haven’t got enough experience with it to know how I best can use it.

First of all, I’m not selling photos but I do let some people download some of my photos for use in various ways. My current setup looks something like this (see included picture)

Everything in the public gallery is … public. However, downloads are disabled. Currently the galleries might have a slightly different design, but could probably have a unified design.

The delivery folder is where I add galleriers that I "deliver" to people, this means that they can download the originals if they want. The delivery folder is hidden, and each gallery is hidden from the others … in short, people need the URL to specific gallery to be able to see the gallery. This galleries look different from each other.

The private folder, also hidden, this contains family pictures that should be accessed by those who knows the password and the URL to the private folder. The folder contains galleries that are visible to anyone that is logged in. Galleries might look different from each other.

I currently have everything under one sub-domain, but I can easily create new sub-domains if that is needed. I also have more than enough of disk space.

So my question to those of you with a lot of JAlbum experience, how would I best take advantage of JAlbums feature and organize something with a similar functionality?
