when searching forum found two threads about menu 'scrollability', but those threads are locked..so make new thread here

I cannot find out how to scroll the 2nd level menu (or is it 3rd?)..as it bottoms out (see screen shot)..using scroll wheel, the folder icons for the menu scroll in the back ground, but for faster navigation I'd like the actual menu to be able to scroll to the bottom..how to do that?

The second level is supposed to be scrollable. May I have a link so I can figure out why it isn't scrollable in your album?

That leads to a 404 page (after clicking through a bunch of security risk warnings).

that is strange, I just checked and clicked the link I sent you-> album comes up no problem, never seen an 404 or security warning..so do not know how/where to do something to give you working album..but I also linked it on my JA profile, can you get in form there (album 'Kærvej'->folder 'køkken alrum')..it opens no problem for me when launched from JA profile

EDIT 9:50 29/12 2025
Firefox shows no problem, but just tried Edge = album comes up and works no problem but a warning triangle is shown about album not secure

EDIT 10:57
just got response from my hosting, he sees nothing wrong with that link (album)..the warning is generic as it is a http:// not https:// connection (but I do not plan any secure transfers here, so does not matter)

Using SSL (https) isn't just about "secure transfers." Because it encrypts end-to-end, it also prevents all sorts of hacking. It also ensures that the site you're connecting to is the real one, and not a fake. It is now the web standard, and browsers are beginning to refuse to make http connections.

So, it does matter. You need to switch. On most web hosts, it's automatic.

Firefox behaves like all the major browsers, and warns about using outdated connection methods. But you can tell Firefox to "trust" your domain, so you won't see the warning any longer. You probably did that long ago, and don't remember doing it.

Now the album is accessible.

I remember now. I made it scrollable, but then the 3rd-level menu stopped working, so I had to undo it. The 3rd-level menu is aligned to the top of the menu item, but when the 2nd-level menu is scrollable, the positioning gets totally broken, and the submenu does not appear at all. Perhaps one day I'll write a JavaScript routine to animate the menu, but using plain CSS isn't possible.

If the second-level menu doesn't have a child, it's scrollable, like in my album, so limiting the menu depth to two might be a solution.
