Installer making a mess

The current Windows installer, instead of installing jAlbum in C:\Program Files\jAlbum, is installing it in C:\Program Files\JAlbum AB\jAlbum.

This is not a good thing. ;)

(In short, it landed me in "no-man's-land," with an unholy mix of versions, with predictably godawful results.)

ETA: And it was a lot of fun in NetBeans, which suddenly couldn't find some trivial, unimportant libraries like jalbum-core.jar. Yikes.

Trust me, I didn't make that change deliberately. I can look into reverting to the classic behaviour for future releases.

I'm just thinking that when a user installs a new version, it will leave the old version behind, because it's not in the same place. And having two versions of jAlbum in Windows is problematic.

Using different folders now messes up my usual process of fidling in skin files and having to repair some things in the "Jalbum.ini" after every new install.

By the way, I havn't seen any appilcation which deletes something in his configuration file during the uninstall process. So everytime I uninstall/install I add this
-Djava.util.logging.SimpleFormatter.format="%1$td.%1$tm.%1$tY %1$tH:%1$tM:%1$tS.%1$tL%n"

to the "Virtual Machine Parameters=" section, to make the log files readable. Because the default date/time format is the worst I have ever seen in my life, it's a mess, maybe only makes sense to English speeking folks.

Thanks.

The jAlbum 39 beta is back to installing where one would expect it to. I hope this will avoid the kinds of problems I've been running into with Battling jAlbums™ in Windows.
