Views - change thumbnail

I like the implementation of Views in the latest version of JAlbum. However, I can't see how to change the thumbnail image for a View folder and I can't work out how it is selecting one by itself (and it's never the one I want...)

I'd be very grateful for some guidance on how to select the thumbnail image of my own choice for VIews folders. Thanks everyone.

After you've added, say, an alphabetic view, right-click on the thumbnail for it and choose Attachments > Representing image > Attach file... and choose the image you want to use. It won't show up in Explore (that's a minor bug), but the album will use that image for the view thumbnail.

Below that level, however, you lose control over it. You can't choose the thumbnail for the A folder, the B folder, and so on. Those just grab the first image in each folder. Something for the future, perhaps.

BTW, you can use any image to represent the view folder - it doesn't have to be one of the images in the project at all.

Attached, a little experiment I did with four different views in an album - alphabetic, date, places, recently added - using images I've glommed onto from the interwebs.

The "representing image" attachment is also new in jAlbum 38. You can use it to attach an image to a view, to a PDF, to a video, to just about anything. A long-overdue improvement.
