When signing in to jAlbum checking the little box that says "Keep me signed in" doesn't work for me any more. Is that by design now?

This is for logging in to the forums, not the application, so this is stored in a cookie in your browser. If it's not working, that means either that your browser is blocking cookie storage, or some over-eager "cleanup" program is deleting the cookie.
It's working properly for me.
(Maybe not relevant, but I recently finally got fed up and removed the CCleaner app. The newest version is a hot mess, and has become the kind of system bloat that it was originally designed to remove. It was also doing things like deleting cookies it shouldn't have.)

It happens automatically whenever you sign in and have that box checked. Something on your system or in your browser is either blocking it, or deleting it. |

I don’t think it’s my browser problem. Every time I go to a new website that uses cookies I always get a notice to accept the cookies. So I don’t think it’s a problem with my system or browser. Could it possibly be a problem with jAlbum’s website? |

Not likely. If it were, a lot of other people would be seeing the same problem, and you're the only one we've heard from.
What's your default browser? And do you have any extensions on it, like AdBlock?
ETA: Oh, and are you running CCleaner? The newest release of that is a hot mess - among other things, it suddenly started deleting cookies users told it to keep. Time to say goodbye to that app, I'm afraid.  |

Any other "security" software on your PC, beyond the built-in Windows stuff? (These days, you don't need any of the third-party apps for anti-virus, firewall, etc., etc.)
Somewhere in all of this, you have some software on your machine that's trying to do you a "favor" that you don't want it to do.

Default browser is Chrome. There was an extension called Safe Search on it so I removed that. I went thru all the programs installed (thru control panel) and found a program called McAfees Web Adviser so I removed that. Still no luck.
Like I said before, whenever I go to a new website that uses cookies I always get the notice to either accept or reject cookies so I don't think anything on my computer is blocking cookies. I'll just live with signing on every time. It's just 3 extra clicks. |

Plug this into the address bar:
chrome://settings/content/siteData
And make sure Allow sites to save data to your device is chosen.

I don't know what fixed it, but it appears to be working now. I had to power off my machine and after restarting it, it appears to be working. Strange.... |
