Story Skin - Settings Panel too small in German Language

Dear Laza,

i have a problem with the dimensions of the settings panel in Story Skin.
Since version 6.1.0, the image box covers part of the settings (pop-ups cannot be accessed, description texts cannot be read). The last version that worked was 6.0.1. See attached screenshots.
In English it is working, in German it covers (maybe in other languages too).

Is there a way to fix this myself somewhere in the code, or is it too complicated?

Currently in use: jAlbum 37.7.3, Story 6.3.2

You can edit the skin's texts/texts_de.properties file (it's just a text file, so any editor will do), and try to supply some shorter translations. If you're successful, please pass the edited file to Laza so he can incorporate it into the skin.

This is a problem we've seen before - the German langauge is not noted for brevity!

Hi Jeff,
I have shortened a lot of the translations considerably, but this has not yet achieved the desired effect.
I still have a problem with a window for user-defined code; code at the end of the line is not visible due to overlaps. (4-5 characters.)

Would it be possible to widen the Panel by 30-40 pixels? This behavior has only been present since v.6.1.0. (see Screenshots in my first Post).

Correct

I will check out the German UI for the next release. The UI's width is limited so that the whole panel is visible on a 1280px-wide screen.

Hi Laza,
i have now reduced some of the relevant translations to terms that I can work with “internally.”
If it were possible to slightly increase the panel width, that would be great.
