  • Fixed problems with page up/down navigation in review mode
Using page up/down still does nothing in review mode.

It only does something useful if you have marked some pictures before you started the review mode.

David, new features are always welcome, but to often it is very difficult or impossible to understand (from you descriptions) how the work. More details how this feature works are very welcome. :-)

Cheers, Markus

If you shift-select a few images in Explorer view, then open review mode (Space), then you can continue navigating in pages using PageUp and PageDown now.

If you open review mode with one single image selected, hold down SHIFT and click right arrow key to shift-select more images or move the mouse down to reveal the thumbnail strip. Now you can multi-select several images and use PageUp and PageDown from there on.

Have a read of the updated review page, https://jalbum.net/help/en/JAlbum/Review#Review
Hopefully I have got it right, but if not it can be updated again.

Thanks Rob, that explains it well!

My complain was not about the help but on the information David gives us in the news for a new release. These infos are sometimes to short.

I know, I sometimes have to play with beta’s to understand what to write. :)
And since they are beta’s changes can be in a state of flux.

I started my company more than 36 years ago and was the developer and the write for the news and the context sensitive help. Writing the news and the help was not really fun, if you know what I mean. :-)

So, what you - Rob - are doing here is just a really really cool thing. Writing the help for something someone else developed, terrific! Thanks!

In one of my previous jobs I had to explain how something technical worked, so a technical writer could write the manual. Prior to doing the wiki my only other experience of writing was producing a newsletter and website for a local 'Friends of a museum' group.
