Ability to remove keywords by drag&drop on a group of images.

Hello,
It is currently possible to assign keywords to a group of images by selecting the desired images and drag & dropping the keywords onto one of the selected images. During drag and drop, the cursor displays a '+', good!
That said, when you drag the wrong keywords, correcting this error is not easy: it seems that the only way to remove these keyword from a group of images is to edit them manually one by one. Imagine when you have to correct dozens or hundreds of images
I had hoped that drag & dropping the keywords to be removed, in combination with a control key, such as Ctrl-drag or similar, would have switched the cursor to delete mode with a '-' displayed on the cursor, but it doesn't work.
Clarification: this is not about deleting a keyword (which may be ok on other images), but about removing a keyword from a group of images.

You CAN delete a keyword from selected images. Do like this:
- Select the target images
- Right-click the keyword to delete in the keywords section below the images
- Select "Delete keyword"
jAlbum will now immediately delete that keyword from the selected images. The operation can be undone.

Thanks David for the tip
I must admit this not very intuitive for me. Moreover, the help about keywords says that using Right-click on a keyword and Selecting delete will let you delete one or more selected keywords from the list. Maybe the help could be enhanced to describe the steps above...

Do you really feel that ctrl-dropping keywords would be a more intuitive way to delete keywords? With Drag&Drop there are usually only the notions "move", "copy" (+ icon) and "link".

from the list refers to the list of keywords shown when in keyword view mode, the row of all keywords used.
I have updated https://jalbum.net/help/en/jAlbum/Explore#Keywords
To show what David has said above, it is added at the end of the keyword section.

I feel exactly the same. I've never dared to use this feature, at least not with a productive album. Now that it is clear how it works exactly, this solution is good for me.

Now I'm confused. I use this function from time to time, but this deletes all keywords from one or more objects. But sometimes I only want to delete one keyword from several keywords of an object.
You have these keywords for one object:
One
Two
Three
Four
Five
And want to delete only keyword " Three". That is the use case. I think.

Then select only keyword "Three", then right-click it and select "Delete keywords". It then applies to the selected objects only, or all objects if none are selected.

David, the contextual menu, when on thumbnails and in 'Keywords' view, menu>Extensions>Keywords>Remove
does nothing. Clear removes all keywords for selected objects, copy and paste also work. So I have updated the wiki page below to show that.
Markus, I have updated the wiki page https://jalbum.net/help/en/jAlbum/Explore#Comment/Title/Keywords
Hope that makes it clearer.

Honestly, I've forgotten about that extension. I have to check out what "Remove" was intended to do. I suspect that that extension is older than the current behaviour of the keywords list below thumbnails. You get far with that one.

Do you really feel that ctrl-dropping keywords would be a more intuitive way to delete keywords? With Drag&Drop there are usually only the notions "move", "copy" (+ icon) and "link".
Yes, I feel.
However, move has no sense for keywords, so in this particular context, it could be considerer as "remove the dragged keywords(s) from the selected images". Using a - icon in this case would be a good meaning of what will be done.

I might give it a go. One can supplement various icons with the mouse arrow and as you say supplementing a "-" icon or a red coloured keyword would be a good indicator. There is no harm in providing multiple ways to achieve the same goal. I can just say that the drag & drop APIs (there are 3 generations of them) is a drag to wander into... It's also closer to the OS, meaning that one can expect things to behave differently on different platforms.
