Does this mean if I have a .csv file, I can import it into the album? If so, are there fields to map data to, or is there a structure I need to follow?

I don't know what you are referring to as "does this mean"?
I have no idea how one can import a CSV file into an album.

Do you mean Menu > File > Import from a database
For information on importing titles, comments etc. from a CSV file.
