Settings for Image and Output directories don't 'sync'

I'm not sure what changed but I'm having a small issue that's more annoying than anything else and I can't seem to locate an answer. (if there is one)

I do all my web stuff on my W: drive. All my projects are in W:/jAlbums and I've got my defaults set to W:\jAlbums and W:\jAlbums\album for these two directories.

When I start a new project, the Image path gets created and updated, but the Output path doesn't and remains W:\jAlbums\album.

For example, let's say I create a project called Test. The Image path gets set to W:\jAlbums\Test but the Output remains W:\jAlbums\album. I can easily change the Output path, but it's a bit of a pain to do that with each project I create. Is there a setting I'm missing that would update the Output path to W:\jAlbums[project name]\albums??

Thx!

I suspect you've saved that output path as your default. So, the fix should be easy. Launch jAlbum. Then, without opening a project, just change the output directory to simply album - no drive letter, no path. It's relative, so it will end up being exactly what you want. Now, File, Save as Default.

That did the trick. I knew all that was working previously.

Once again, thank you Jeff!

Just check in Preferences>Projects you have ‘Under project directory’ set as the output directory location.
