Looks good. Only one little oddity - if you go into edit mode and hover on one of the image adjustments icons, the tooltip says, Change brightness, contrast, and saturation. When you're actually using the plugin, the panel is labeled Levels. When you hover on the undo, it says, Undo Color Adjustment Filter.
Methinks that one consistent description needs to be adopted! Maybe:
Adjust brightness, contrast, and saturation levels
Levels (on the panel - no change)
Undo Adjusted Levels

The wording is still inconsistent. All three places should refer to "adjusted levels." That's why I spelled it all out, so you could copy and paste!

Any progress on the broken location map data problem?

No, but I should look into it. It's so sad that Google choose to break the APIs every now and then

I'm using the text keys found here:
Something's gotten mangled. If I use that texts.properties file, even without any edits, all hell breaks loose, with missing UI labels all over the place. I had to do a full reinstall to recover, and when I venture into the texts.properties file as distributed, I don't see any of the labels we're discussing at all, anywhere.
Sorry, but I just can't sort this out.

I ran my beta update tool and I see 'Undo Levels' and, for example 'Redo Gamma'

Please compare my suggested, consistent wording with what's there now. Lack of symmetry always conveys the impression that the app is sloppy around the edges.
It's so easy to get it right, so there's no excuse for getting it wrong.

Rookie mistake. I assumed that David had included the new texts file in the usual beta location, which he hasn't. Using the linked file above I too get all sorts of broken texts. Luckily, after your post I kept the original file so didn't need to reinstall.

Another tragic victim of the DVCS - the David Version Control System. A wholly-owned subsidiary of CrowdStrike.

v35.1 is just around the corner now
Changes:
...
- Now preserves metadata when replacing images within jAlbum
...
There is only one thing that still works wrong: when an excluded image is overwritten, it is no longer excluded.
* Usability improvement: The undo and redo buttons of Edit view now tells what tools are being affected (via tool tips)
I was hoping that the Undo button tooltip would display a list of all the actions that can be undone, one by one, a bit like the tooltip displayed on the pencil of an edited image in the Explorer view: Image tools applied (Straighten Filer, Grayscale Filter).
But a tooltip displaying the action that will be performed when you click Undo is already not so bad ![:-)](https://jalbum.net/forum/images/emoticons/happy.gif)

I understand, but that seems harder to implement.

Not that it's hard to display all applied filters in the tool-tips, but it would be confusing as only the last applied tool will be undone. If you undo one too much, just hit redo again.
