Help! Corrupted images when uploading under new version. :(
Posted: 20 Jul 24, 22:03

I am having a new problem. I updated to the latest release (35.0.2). My prior release (I don't know the version) worked fine. Running on Windows 11.

For some history, I had some problems with the FTP upload. It didn't seem to transfer over from the prior release. I have resolved those and the upload now seems to work well.

When I upload the images, they are somehow corrupted. The thumbnails (for the most part) look fine. See this folder as an example:
https://gallery.jalbum.net/en/browse/user/album/2116574

I tried changing to the "Plain" skin (from Lizard) to see if that helped, and it did not. I don't know if it is corrupting within JAlbum's app, or in the FTP.

What can I do to fix this?

Thanks,
Keith.

This is the sign of an upload that has suffered from terrible connection problems. First, make sure everything looks OK when you do a local preview. Then connect to your server, delete the entire album, and try the upload again.
