images improved with an AI

Hi.
I got some nightmares when I took some photos to improve my pictures with an AI software. In all my attempts, the metadata had disappeared.

Does anyone have the same experience and maybe a solution on how to prevent the loss?

Thank you for your help.

Prime directive: never delete the true, straight-from-the-camera originals, so you can always go back and start over.

What software? I use software with AI editing and it doesn’t remove any meta.

Hi!
Software means that I have used the possibilities offered for a free trial online.
If you have had other experiences, please tell me with which program you were able to make them.

I use On1 Photo RAW
Personally, I would not consider using an online solution for photo manipulation.
