Looks good, I found that to remove a project from a virtual group you just use 'Remove from list', easy.
Yes, you can see "Recent projects" as a special case of a virtual group that gets populated automatically as you work with jAlbum.

If you like centralised config files, then use the "+" button to add "root project groups". Their references are stored under jAlbum's config directory. If you prefer distributed config files (allowing a virtual project group to be relocated), then right-click the "My Albums" node and select "New Virtual project group"
This doesn't correspond to anything I'm seeing. The "+" button gives me a dialog where I can choose virtual/non-virtual, and specify the folder location. There's no convenient way to access the config directory, as far as I can tell.
Now I get it. Well, <config>/project-groups.txt does contain references to the "root" project groups you create that way, but each virtual project group is also a true folder on disk containing the "jalbum-projects.txt" file that points to each project. THAT file is distributed. I could design things differently but this model allows virtual project groups within virtual project groups and virtual project groups within project groups etc. Compare with what you get if you right-click the "My Albums" project group and create a sub-project group under it. |

On the color issue: I've found the cause for incorrect colors / missing color indication during drag and drop. Just get b10 from the beta core file.

Are you suggesting a deep folder hierarchy under <config>/PGroups/ ? With today's setup we can have project groups within project groups, and rearranging project group folders (both types) can be done straight from the file system. |

Yes, pretty much. I'm always a little leery of users doing a lot of "messing about" in the file system. Sure, you can move the groups, but what happens when the links in the groups don't match the hard drive reality?
Right now, for example, there's this entry in my project-groups.txt file: C:\Users\jefft\Documents\jAlbum Temps\Saturn Demos
If I hit File Explorer and move the Saturn Demos folder elsewhere, it will become invisible to the app!
I'm also thinking about the fact that many, many users don't like having jAlbum control files "cluttering up" their precious hard drive structures. The more of that stuff that can be hidden away, the better. |

ETA: If I were you, I'd think long and hard about this before releasing jAlbum 35. Once that toothpaste is out of the tube, it might turn into one of those "poor decisions that we're stuck with for all eternity." We've seen that movie before. |

One tiny UI glitch, almost not worth mentioning.
Say you have 48 recent projects. You create a new group, then you scroll down through the recent projects, clicking and dragging the ones you want to add to the new group. Now you switch to one of the groups. The display of projects in the lower panel retains the scroll position from when you viewed the recent projects. But the group you have just switched to might have only 5 entries, instead of 40, so they're invisible until you scroll up in that seemingly-empty lower panel.
Minor, but it did catch me off-guard once: "Hey, this group I just added projects to is empty!"  |

There are probably more little things like that lurking out there - when regular users have updated to jAlbum 35, those will surface.
