I don't think there are any files in that project with apostrophes in their names. It looks like he's done it properly - simple file names, jAlbum titles for the "readable" names.

ETA: For example, the file FathersDay_FB.png has a title of Father's Day.

It was just a guess, sorry. Then the hints you gave apply; checking the local album in the first place.

I built an album using his imported settings, and there was no problem that I could see, so it's puzzling.

Hi!

I'm not using apostrophe characters in me file name, but still need to check creating a zip file first to see if that solves the problem.

Jeff,

Sorry, it's been a busy week or so, and I missed this.

There is no .zip file created (excepting for lifeboat.zip), nor is it in the Tools, Open directories, Output directory.

Screenshot attached also has .zip download as an option. Also, no funny ASCII characters being used, just A-Z and and an underline (_) character.

Are these 1201x631 px imagers your originals? Do you include the "Scaled images" or only the "originals"?

If the ZIP is missing from the local directory (Ctrl-Shift-O), even though the button is generated, then it can happen some security software removes the file automatically. When you run a Make album does the status bar (at he bottom) show "Zipping folder holidays"?

Open the Preferences (Tools -> Preferences) and set the Logging level to FINER. This way jAlbum will write out all the Zip-related messages to the Console (F7).

He's including only originals, and when I test that, with a few of his PNG's, everything works normally.

I had begun to suspect this, as well.

The only other thing I can suggest is doing a complete uninstall/reinstall of jAlbum. Maybe there are some pieces of obsolete code kicking around. It will take only a few minutes.

Laza, an unrelated minor problem revealed by this. The hover color on the download button is almost completely invisible in most styles. It gets even worse if you choose a custom Accent color.

Thanks for this info. Perhaps the fix that made links readable spoiled the hover colors.
