Thanks thats sorted the thumbnail issue out.

I think the image being displayed massive might be a jalbum issue. When I build my website in jalbum it is also showing the images massive and a lot larger than 1500x1000.

I don't understand what you mean by that.

The jAlbum core processes the images, and the slide images in your album are all less than 1500x1000px. Satisfy yourself - open the output directory, go into one of the folders, and examine the image files in the slides directory. You'll find that none of them is any larger than the image bounds.

The Tiger script displays the images in the album, and it's not showing them any larger than their intrinsic size.

When you preview the album before uploading, don't waste time with the jAlbum integrated browser - it's unreliable. Do your previewing in a real browser.

You've got a wrong setting. You're now telling jAlbum to use the originals, rather than the scaled slide images. See screenshot.

Ive played around some more thinking it might be a chrome issue but have found out its a windows scaling issue.

Soon as i put scaling to 100% for my monitor then the images are showing correctly.

I knew i had been stupid somewhere along the lines!

You still need to fix the "include" settings. If you don't tell jAlbum to "include" scaled images, it will just use the full-sized originals for the album.

When setting up a 4K display to act like an HD display, the images will be displayed as if the monitor was 1920x1080px. (A 1920x1080-sized image will fill the screen.) The extra resolution is used to provide clearer text rendering and vector graphics. The images can also be painted in 2x resolution, but only if a higher resolution version exists. That's where variants come into play.
