5.0 Hero Logo does not save

After installing the new upgrade, when I make a new album, the Hero logo setting does not save in the settings and has to be entered everytime I make a new page.
How to fix?

Things like logo images that you add aren't really project "settings." They're more in the nature of images that you're adding to a specific project. If you always include a picture of your dog, Sparky, in every album, saving those project settings as the default doesn't include Sparky's picture with it. Logo images are like that.
The only workaround is to duplicate an existing project - right-click the name of the project in the left pane, or click the little down-arrow to the right of its name, and choose Duplicate project - rather than starting a new, empty project, using default settings. But of course, that also means that you'd have to delete the images in the newly-created project and add the new images you want. Probably easier just to add the logo image each time.

It is in the same project that it doe not load.
I create a page with the first folder of pictures, manually add the logo to the settings then create the page.
I then add the next folder of pictures to the same project, create the page and the logo is missing.
This is only happenening after I updated to 5.0 today.
I made 15 albums in one project yesterday with no problem at all.

Hmmm.... I can't replicate that. If I add a logo image and make the album, the logo appears on the hero image. If I then add a new folder and put some images in it, and make the album, the logo appears on the page for that folder, too.
I've also tried saving, closing jAlbum, launching it again, then adding another folder. Same results.

I am wondering if it is a problem with jAlbum then.
Maybe I should uninstall and reinstall the whole thing.

Well, it wouldn't hurt to reinstall the skin from https://jalbum.net/skins/skin/Story/
Reinstalling the entire app shouldn't be necessary. The only time it really pays to do some cleaning up is when someone's been using jAlbum for many years, and has accumulated all manner of leftover stuff.

If it's still misbehaving, please create a little test project - just a couple of folders, with just three or four images in each, along with a logo image. Then zip up the whole project, upload it somewhere, and give us a link to the zip file.

Glad it worked out. The initial failure is puzzling nonetheless.
However, we never argue with success!
