Burger menu

Hi
I have asked this earlier too I think -but the burger menu in Story goes away after a few seconds in Chrome and Firefox. Even if I hold the courser inside the menu. In Edge though it stays til I remove the courser...

Would be nice if you could check on this

The Burger Menu of your site displays properly on all paages for me. I am using Chrome with windows 11

I looked at your site earlier, and the menu appeared when I clicked on the burger, and then went away after about ten seconds. That seems to be a deliberate design choice, and a reasonable one.

But now, the burger menu doesn't appear on your site at all, in any browser. Please don't do this. If you're having a problem with your site, and post about it here, please don't then change it. That makes it impossible for anyone to examine the site, and to determine whether there is a problem with it.

At this point, all we can do it mark this thread as "assumed answered," and move on to something else.

Hi

Something strange is going on for me.. the burger menu comes and goes -and stay -then goes away when I reload...

I will check my browsers and my PC real well... sorry to be a bother -thanks anyway.

That is real strange. It do not go away either? -after about 8 sec.?

The menu burger icon normally appears only on small displays. On a larger display, the menu is shown as a series of links, shown horizontally above the thumbnails. This is a typical design feature, and seems to be working as designed. If you want to show the menu burger icon on all monitor sizes, rather than the horizontal menu, go to Story > Functions > Navigation and uncheck Expand on large monitors.

And in all browsers, on all platforms, it behaves the same way. If you click it, the menu appears for six seconds, then fades out.

Ok -thanks for the info.

If Laza see this I still have a wish

:

-An option to keep the burger menu active when the courser is in there..
-Or an option where you can choose to let it on/off by clicking or touching..

Would be nice I think.

In theory on devices with a mouse, the menu should not disappear while the mouse is over it. Perhaps this doesn't work flawlessly.

It should disappear on touch devices because no cursor is there.

I'm trying to upload some pages now with the latest version of Story -and the same happens.. But I experience now that the issue comes and goes..:
I reload the page -and it acts like you say it should -the menu stays.
Then I reload again and the menu goes away after some seconds..
There is no 'order' in this. I can reload 2 or 10 times before a change happens again...

More confusing than help maybe -but this is how I experience it now.
