Folder property panel too large

In jAlbum 32.1, the folder property panel is being shown much too large. Screenshot.
I can shrink it, but that lasts only for the current session.
ETA: Win11 and macOS 11.7.9, all L&F's

Interesting that it didn't show while I was testing. Now I've investigated this further and I believe I have a solid fix for it now. Do a core update to enjoy the fix.

I take it back. Better on Win11, but if anything, even worse on macOS. That folder panel is now taking up almost half the viewport.

Really? Does the splash screen say 32.1.1? What if you adjust the property panel size to a suitable size and restart?

Yup, says 32.1.1. Scrrenshots - upon first launch, then, after adjusting the panel to a normal size, and a relaunch.

Super puzzling. I can't reproduce that one. Do you have "Remember window position and size" checked under Preferences?

Yes, I do.
Another interesting data point.... On the first launch, I get 4 columns of thumbnails, and an acceptable folder panel. Quit, relaunch, CTRL-1, and I get 3 columns of thumbnails. Repeat, and I get 2 columns of thumbnails. Repeat, 1 column of thumbnails. Repeat, 0 columns of thumbnails. Repeat, 4 columns of thumbnails again.
This is all without doing any adjusting at all. It's as if each successive layout is offset from the previous one, until it literally runs out of room, at which point it returns to the original state. |

If it helps, I don't get any problems with mac OS 11.7 or 13.5.

And here's the kicker. It behaves properly if the jAlbum window is not maximized. On the Macbook Air, I always run it maximized, since there's so little screen real estate to work with.

This isn't even truly full screen - just drag the window edges to their limits, but still with the regular toolbar at the top.
I have to reduce the resolution on the Macbook, as well. The native resolution ends up being too small for me to see. But the problem persists, even at native resolution.
