View Counter?

Would it be possible to add a "View Counter" for each image say in one of the page corners?

In a word, no.

jAlbum albums are all purely "client side." They don't include any processing on the server. To keep track of user views, the page would have to be able to write information to the server - where else would it store that counter?

There is the Visitor counter Widget. See https://jalbum.net/widgets/info

Der geht aber dann nur für das ganze Album. Nicht für einzelne Bilder.
