Sometimes I put up a small album for limited viewing by limited friends for a limited time. Would anyone else be interested in having an option where "this album will automatically self destruct in X weeks?" Just a thought.

mrag,

I read your request and thought, well why not, then unbelievably awful situations appeared in my mind, just imagine someone's monstrously huge album that took nearly a lifetime to upload, then only to go and accidently destroy itself, a week later.

I wouldn't want to be held responsible thats for sure, Heavens!

I do see how some might find something like this useful though, however I would want to know EXACTLY where all these settings are, and have the ability to disable or remove them completely

Regards Peter

On second thought (or is that sober), you're right about the potential to dump an important album. When the simple cure is to just make an entry on a calendar . . . delete album X

You could set a timed redirect to a custom 404 page saying ’Too late to view’. With the album timed to ‘disappear’ in say two weeks, you can then delete the actual album at your leisure.

I’m guessing though that is too much like hard work ;)
