An interesting sequence.... Create a test project with a few images in it, in a couple of folders. Any skin. Make sure you're using large originals.

• Set the image bounds to 2000x1000.
• Make the album.
• Choose Process only updated subdirectories.
• Change the image bounds to 1920x1080.
• Make the album. The slide images are not regenerated. No surprise.
• Uncheck Process only updated subdirectories.
• Make the album. The slide images are still not regenerated.

At this point, your only option is to do a Force remake. But because Force Remake has never been separated into two options - Force remake of images and Force remake of videos - you're in for a long process if you have a project with a bunch of videos in it!

ETA: The kludgy workaround, of course, is to change the image bounds to something slightly different, like 1920x1081, and make the album again. As long as you don't repeat the mistake of processing only updated subdirectories, this will straighten things out again.

Sorry I missed this. You're probably right that we have "room for improvement" here

I'd get rid of it, but I would still like a way to force reprocessing of just the images, without triggering processing of all the videos, too. Video processing is what drives my PC into breathing hard. If you truly want to reprocess everything, you can just delete the local album and hit Make album again.

I'd bury the forced reprocessing of images somewhere deep - not sure where. Maybe on an Album > Advanced menu entry. But certainly not on a down arrow on the primary Make album button. Might be nice to have a parallel option to force reprocessing of just the videos, too.

I'd kill off Make test at the same time. That was fine in the days of simple "HTML table of thumbs leading to simple slide pages" skins, but the skins people are using these days are likely to misbehave when given only a "test" remake. Probably not providing much useful information.
