I have no idea why Norton is complaining about simple file operations. Norton has a long history of registering false positives, and labeling all sorts of harmless software as "malicious." It's notorious for doing this.
Think about it. You are letting defective software prevent you from using software that
isn't defective. And you're paying for the privilege, to boot.
Norton is garbage. It's slowing down your PC, blocking harmless applications, costing you money, yet providing no benefit that you can't get for free. Does sticking with this actually make sense to you?
