Get jAlbum to generate the scaled WebP image again. In the Explore view, choose that image and exclude it. Don't delete it - just exclude it. See screenshot.

Then click that icon again, so that it is included again. Now Make Album and Upload.

The original image must be damaged. Please attach it here.

But if the original is damaged, there is no way to fix it.

Can you post the original image, or upload it and provide a link to it?

As an experiment can you create a new project with just that image and make the album but with slightly different image bounds. I have once seen something similar and changing the image bounds ‘fixed it’.

Komisch.

Replace your original with this version:

https://jefftucker.jalbum.net/montag-tauziehen-202023-121.jpg

Make Album and Upload.

All I did was let jAlbum process it as a JPG-to-JPG, with 100% JPG quality, no sharpening, and 5000x5000 image bounds. So, it's the same dimensions as the original, with the same quality. The act of rewriting the image seems to have fixed it!

This is almost certainly not the result of anything in jAlbum. It looks like a one-time data-writing error in Lightroom.

But if it happens again, you can do exactly what I did. Add the "problem" image to a little project with the NoPages skin (no need for any HTML or CSS - we just want to process the image). Set the Sharpening to zero, JPEG Quality to 100%, and Image bounds to 5000x5000 (so no scaling will be done). On the Images > Advanced tab, the output format should be JPEG, not WebP.

Make Album, then open the output directory, copy the image in the slides directory, and use that as your original in the real project.

A skin never bothers with color profiles. It's jAlbum's image reader that does. If the images are intended for the internet, it's best to choose sRGB. Every other color space will be converted to sRGB anyway.

It could just be an error when the file was written. If your disk drive is old it might be worth checking it for bad sectors. In any event make sure you have everything backed up, just in case it is signs of disk drive issues.
