After a new version a Make-changes is automatically converted to a Make-All

After the update version 29.3, it took me 70 minutes to make my album, while it normally takes 3 minutes. Uploading took 20 minutes. while normally it only takes 3 minutes.
I did click the Make button, but in the console output I saw that a Make-All was executed instead of a Make-Changes.
Is this a bug?

Can't say for sure. It's a bug if the "Make all" was triggered without any reason. So far I haven't seen any evidence for that. "Make all" should only be triggered if jAlbum detects a change to the image settings vs last album build. This can be caused by changing settings, then making the album and now forgetting to save the project settings. Now when you reopen that project later and make the album again, it's made with the earlier settings, hence triggering a "Make all" again.

I am absolutely sure that I did not change the image settings.
I did the update, added a couple of new images and clicked the Make button.

I am absolutely sure that I did not change the image settings.
I did the update, added a couple of new images and clicked the Make button.
I am naturally 100% motivated to fix a bug, if this is indeed a bug. Try to reproduce it! |

With he new version 30, no conversion to a Make- All is done, but the processing is at least a fcactor 2 slower:

There could be other factors affecting the timings, such as disk caches and CPU load in general. Do you repeatedly see worse "make album" performance with v30 than v29? If so, please zip and make available the project you're building so I can reproduce this problem.

No.
Please let me know when you can repeat such an issue as I cannot possibly resolve issues that I can't reproduce. |
