Replacement Skin for MatrixSlide
Posted: 17 Jan 23, 20:25

Dear Forum,
I have recently purchased a new jAlbum license on which now unfortunately my previous skins Matrix and MatrixSlide no longer work. If I have understood the articles about the two skins here correctly, the two skins can also not be adapted for the new jAlbum license, which is why I am looking for a replacement.
But especially for the MatrixSlide I can't find a real replacement in the newer skins, because I need a skin that starts as a slideshow with big pictures itself and runs as a loop and doesn't show any operation and also doesn't allow any operation, like a mouse click which then stops the slideshow. Here is the link to my homepage start page where this works like this: http://www.adezech.de/movephotographie/index.htm
I would be grateful for tips !

The final releases of both Matrix and MatrixSlide actually do function properly with the current version of jAlbum, though they both produce albums that are less than optimal on mobile devices (which is why I retired them).

For an automated slideshow with no page of thumbnails, try Triton. Some demo's: https://jefftucker.net/triton/

There's no built-in option for eliminating the stop/start control. I'll have to fiddle with it - there's probably a simple way to do it.

Actually, a mouse-click on the slideshow does stop it, and there's no way to restart it! From that moment on, you're on "full manual control."

Yes, you are right. I didn't realize that a mouse click stops the slideshow after all. Sorry !

I just released a new version of Triton that includes the option to remove all user interaction if you're doing an autostarting, timed slideshow. I'm now using it in one of the demo albums:

The caption can certainly be removed.

I stopped using those kinds of scripts because they simply don't work. Anyone who really wants to grab your image can do so, and you can't stop him. If someone can see your image, he can copy your image.

I almost figured that copying images can't really be prevented.
Thanks again for your help
