Mercury : need complete regeneration to change "Gradient title background"
Posted: 20 Nov 22, 22:22

When upgrading old Mercury projects to the latest version I forgot to tick the Gradient title background option in Mercury>Title bar>Theme image.
Changing that option didn't work for subfolders (even with a new creation). I had to discard the whole project and then create it again to make things work.

You probably just didn't refresh the browser cache when viewing the album. The change from "normal background" to "gradient background" is just a few lines of CSS - there's nothing fancy going on.

ETA: Either that, or you told jAlbum not to process subdirectories that hadn't been updated. Changing skin settings ≠ "updated."

Hi Jeff, your second assumption was correct. I usually never tick that case, but...
Thanks.
