Please read the new/updated skin developer section>Skin naming, in particular ‘Don't use trade names, or the name of any of the third-party scripts you are using in the skin.’ As lightGallery is a JavaScript library the skin should not be named after it.

In fact, that gallery comes with some very specific licensing requirements if the script is included as part of a "website builder." Distributing a skin that includes it through the jAlbum site could subject jAlbum to legal liability.

Forgive me here, but I am just watching all this with interest.

I hope I haven't got it all wrong, my apologies if I have, but it seems that MultiMaker is being expected to look for and report some pretty serious errors.

Is MultiMaker expected to be a tool for this purpose ? I am not making light of
any of it, but I dont get this sort of thing happening, probably because I am not a skin developer. I just make my albums and fire them off into the ether, which is great.

As far as as I can see, MultiMaker is a basic and very useful tool that enables ordinary jAlbum users to upload batches of albums a little quicker.

It's not, I wouldn't have thought anyway, ever been an extensively clever tool thats used for checking for errors. Some of which mentioned in here, would leave me dumbfounded.

Anyway, it just looks as though MultiMaker is being expected to be far cleverer than it was ever designed to be

Good Morning,

At risk of droning on, but just to add to my case, the MultiMaker always being on top situation.

The MultiMaker window does have a 'minimize' button, so it will always be possible to keep it all alive should someone want to.

The MultiMaker seems to be a function in its own right and it may be a better way to do it. ??

I'm not sure what the current thinking is for things like this.

Anyway, I have the new beta running and must say, its great, the new MultiMaker watch options being just the job.

Many Thanks, Peter
