se.datadosen.util.ScriptException: org.codehaus.groovy.control.MultipleCompilationErrorsException: startup failed:
/Users/robert/Library/JAlbum/skins/Journal Groovy/init.groovy: 70: The return type of java.lang.Object getThemePath(se.datadosen.jalbum.AlbumObject) in init$1 is incompatible with java.lang.String in se.datadosen.jalbum.ThemeImageProcessor
. At 70:3 in init.groovy at line number 70 at column number 3[/code]
Well, your method declaration is missing the "String" return type, see: public getThemePath(AlbumObject folder) {
return themeImageName; //Line 71
}
, just add String after public.
Thanks. I’ve resolved all of the above Groovy issues now, at least for the one skin. Hopefully, the other skin conversions will go faster.

Yes, we've very close to release now. The only (me knowingly) outstanding issue is missing RAW support for M1 Macs. I can live with that initially, but I'll make one more attempt on addressing it (involves fighting native code integration with Java JNA)
Don’t spent any time to RAW support for jAlbum if jAlbum can’t read the edits made in Lightroom, because nobody will use it!
What about the final pop-up window with the Multi maker?
Can't promise that for now. I will eventually need to deliver something. You can simply click the notification button to see the final result of a multi make process. If all rows are blue, then all's fine.

Well, what could possible be the case here, aah, the pending comma made it into the URL. The working URL is https://jalbum.net/download/beta/jalbum-core.jar

That is not always correct as I explained earlier: if you have a long list and one of the first projects did show a red notification, that notification is no longer visible if all project are done at the end.

Don't you get a scroller? I'll look into ensuring that error notifications won't expire automatically. That should make it easy to know whether there was an error during a large multi project build.

No, at the end the scroller is gone, see screenshot

André, please widen the window. That will reveal the notification button that's cropped right now. Click that button and enjoy the list of results.
Update: Error notifications apparently don't expire so I don't see the problem here. If any project has errors, the multi make session will end up with a red notification.

Well I have to widen the window extremely to see this notifications and the list is far too short.
Compare the screenshot with the actual list:

I don't know why you make the window twice as wide as needed all of a sudden André. That doesn't prove any point.
The notification list should receive scroll bars when its height goes beyond the screen height.

That is because you shows that list on the right side of the window if you don't see the full width of the notifications and you drag the left side of the window, you have to stretch it a lot. I admit it goes better if you drag the right side of the window
You should center it in the window to avoid this type of problems. And as long as you do not supply a final pop-up window, you should show this automatically, Not everybodyunderstands that small bell button!
The notification list should receive scroll bars when its height goes beyond the screen height.
David on my Windows 10 PC no scroll bars do show up as you see in my screenshots.
I don't understand what the screen height has to do with the scroll bars, because I do not use the full screen height for the jAlbum main window. But even if I do that, I still see no scroll bar.

Hello
I attach a picture of jAlbum when it is running in its 'own' window. As Andres photo is showing.
I have deliberately reduced its height to cover the notifications list and no vertical scroll bar appears on the right side of the notifications list.
My operating system is Windows 10
If I am completely off track here, my apologies, but after reading and re-reading this post I think that's what Andre is trying to say.

I have deliberately reduced its height to cover the notifications list and no vertical scroll bar is present.
So, in this instance, you wouldn't be able to get to the "Invader" project at the bottom of the list. Is that correct?
ETA: FWIW, I just tried the same trick - shortening the window so that the notifications list gets cut off - and indeed, there's no vertical scroll bar. The lower items aren't accessible. But what you can do in that case is hit the close "X" on the upper items in the list. Then the lower ones become accessible.
(BTW, you should update to Win11 if you can - it really is better than Win10. Not relevant to this subject - I'm just sayin'. )

Yes Jeff,
And there are two more projects below that, the only way I can view those two below Invader is to 'drag' the bottom edge of the main jAlbum window down.
Or, as you say, close some of those that are already visible
