Mercury, background color caption

I am testing Mercury.

And I like the panorama support!

On the index page the captions are shown with background color #0000000.

Can this be changed? I would like to make this background greyer.

For now I turned off the captions on the index page.

My skins all operate the same way. Choose the Custom style, then go to Mercury > Custom. You can choose one of the preset styles as the starting point if you like. Then you can create whatever color scheme you desire.

However, when it comes to the mouseover thumbnail caption text and background, I didn't include those particular design elements, since I couldn't imagine anyone wanting to change them. So, you'll have to hit Mercury > Code > CSS and enter:

.justified-gallery > a > .jg-caption {background-color: #333333;}

I'll add settings for that in the next releases of Mercury and Neptune. It would take longer to do the documentation (release notes, user's manual) than to do the coding to make it happen.
