New Objects Keep Arriving

Hi
This is a strange kind of bug but I have a collaborative album set up which has been working well but just recently every time someone sends me some images the same ones just keep coming. I usually sort all the images into folders but keep seeing the notification bar at the top of the screen indicating another two images have arrived followed by another two and so on.

I delete all the duplicates but they keep on coming. If I am going to upload the whole album I have to time it between images arriving otherwise they get added to the upload.

I know that the people sending the images are not continuously sending me the same images and they do eventually stop although this can be days later.

I just wonder how they keep coming.

We had an issue with the fetching of these mails starting Saturday morning. I saw that you had a lot of images waiting in the queue now. After a restart you should now be getting the new ones. We'll investigate this further to make sure it doesn't happen again.

Okay, they seem to have stopped today after getting another 44 repeated images.

I noticed that in the emails I receive telling me that images have been received for the gallery the same email gets repeated two or more times separated by just a minute or two which is why I guess I am getting the same images in the gallery.

The strangest one is an email containing a repeat but from two different people with different email addresses, each saying I have been sent 4 files but they are the same identical images. I know that one of the people could not have taken those 4 images. What has happened to the four images from the other person I have no idea.

It is going to be about two weeks before I get more images emailed to the gallery so I will wait and see how it goes.

44 sounds like a bit too many. But good that is seems to have been sorted out now.
Your photos came from two different persons, but you'll have to contact our support if you want more details, since we can't be too personal here.
