Yes, most of the icons are simple polygons. There are only a few that aren't, and I've either taken care of cleaning up those (the various globe iterations), or the existing SVG's are already fairly concise.

I still need to explore the "arc" controls in SVG. All of the examples I can find immediately launch into creating things like Bézier curves, when all I need are just portions of a circle.

I also have trouble remembering that in SVG, the zero-origin of the Y-axis is at the top. ;)

Ross, if you're still following this thread, the next release of Neptune will have a video overlay that you won't need to replace, and with custom CSS you'll be able to control its size, position, and opacity in order to satisfy your [misguided] design wishes. ;)

It might be a while, because I'm reworking pretty much all of the icons, and I don't want to replace them piecemeal.

What do you mean "misguided"? Here I come up with all these great suggestions (complete with detailed instructions) and that's the thanks I get? Oh well, I'l just have to wait for this new version and see what else it is that needs fixing :-)
