Missing menu in the forums

The navigation menus has disappeared in the forum, see attached images.
The menu options on the faq page is not shown in the forum, so there are no links to the rest of the site.
iOS 14.1 with Safari or Firefox.

Appears to be purely an iOS problem - menus are there on other platforms/browsers.

Looks like the "hamburger" lines aren't visible on iOS devices running iOS 14.x...  If you know where to click the menu appears... |

So instead of a hamburger, it's more of an Easter egg.  
Great for the young ones, just like whack-a-mole.
I installed iPadOS 14.2, in a hope that Apple had fixed this, but no. So we need to make a workaround.

The release candidate of 14.2 is available as a public beta so anyone can download it, but not directly from the settings. |

I'm sure an SVG would work.
I was surprised when I poked around the pages to see how the hamburger was being displayed now. If it were just one browser, I'd suspect that something like the height:0 was kicking it, but since it's in both Safari and Firefox, with completely different code bases, it's tough to know where the trouble is.
BTW: If you use a graphic instead of a CSS trick, you can do fun things, like this (watch the burger when you load or refresh the page):

Whatever the solution, can we have a normal navigation menu, in landscape mode, on a 9.7” iPad and similar? Having to use the hamburger menu is an unnecessary pain.
Hmm... Seems like the website is not using a hamburger for iPad mini in landscape, but the forum is, right? Not sure why the behaviour is different, but I'll check. |

That's correct, of course. In portrait, there are only 768px available, and the full menu won't fit. |
