It would be a nice feature, but not everyone needs it: a poll.
Example: I upload a gallery with images. Users (e. g. in social networks) get the link to that jalbum on my server. They are ask to rate their favourite photo.

I think widgets are an anachronism, and are problematic for a number of reasons. They should be removed entirely. The last thing I would do is add another one.
