hi
I have many old albums.
But with the actual .jap i can not see my picture folders in the jablum explorer.
I have the original pictures (since everytime) in the same folder as the calculated pictures.

a for me unacceptable solution is, to deleta all .html files in all albums and made a folder for the original pictures and a folder album for the calculated content.

why i can not use my old system with version 20 ?!

regards,
Felix

Hi Felix,

Can you describe the problem better? Are you mixing the image- and album folders in the one-and-same folder?

Update to jAlbum 20.2 and then do a core update via Tools->External tools->jAlbum core update
Restart jAlbum and it should work again.

jAlbum warns users not to make the image and output directories the same - see sameInOut.png. This is a good example of why. Because of the circular nature of this, the Mr.Burn5 skin that you're using produces a broken album.

The quick fix is to go the jAlbum Explore view for the project, find the thumbnail for lifeboat.zip, and exclude it. Do not delete it - just exclude it - see excludeLifeboat.png.

The better solution is to keep your input and output separate. If you don't, you will continue to have strange problems like this. What you have done for the last 10 years doesn't matter. The software has changed, and this is now a very bad idea.
