No, in that the MM account has only been in place for a short while and I havent set
as default an album that uses MM, I can do that though.

Am interested to know if there is a standard way of shuffling those two accounts
and if their position in the list is important for new albums, I hadnt thought about
setting an album as default though.

Making an albums settings as default seems a good idea

I agree. How about this text:

"Account profile not found. Skipping upload. To resolve, upload album manually once"

Much better, assuming the null error can only be caused by a missing account profile.

Correct

I ask only because Gromit suggested something I have never needed to do,
and thats to upload an album to a specific account, targeting maybe a different website location, so the Upload Manager has to have more than one account in it.

As mine has.

I cannot see how I set a different website target (Account) even though I have
two accounts in my Upload Manager, I want to make MM the default between the two.

I was just tinkering with that, to see whether it works. It's a little odd, because you sort of have to create a dummy project to get things started.

So, start a new project - File, New Project. Assuming you always use the same settings (same skin, etc.), import the settings from a recent project - File, Import, Settings from Project... Now add an image (one will do), and hit Make Album. Now click the little down arrow on the right side of the Upload button, and choose MM. Then File, Save as Default.

You can now delete this little dummy project. No need to upload it or save it.

Any new project you create should start with everything set the way you want it.

Yes Yes Yes Yes, Yipeee, I see and have literally just found it.

Because I only ever had one account I never went to the little
down arrow, I just did and there they are...

I am so sorry for going on but it was a bit of a mystery.

Here is a picture, (slightly blown up) and there they are.

I did do a save as default with an album as well and that also works.

I have found the option, it does exist, I just had no idea where it was.

Thankyou, All

Kind Regards, Peter

Sorry, stopped for tea :)
Glad everything is now sorted for you. The wiki covers just about everything, though you might need to search on keywords if you are not familiar with the wiki. For example jAlbum>Welcome>Upload

I've got five different upload locations (three domains and a couple of subdomains), so this is much more familiar territory for me! :)

Yes Rob,

I know I sometimes behave like an idiot, but got there in the end,
yourself and Gromit have been very good and helped me along.

I have to say though, my picture shows a thousand words, for me anyway,
but would it not be possible to have something like that in the upload Manager too,

I realise that where it is now, is where it should be with on the fly changing of accounts
being a breeze, but when in the actual Upload Manager it would be nice to have seen that option alongside the existing ones of, 'Add' 'Remove' 'Rename', as maybe a 'Set as Default' option, specially as thats where you are when you are putting accounts in and, that you are in fact 'in' the Upload Manager itself...

All sorted now, Hopefully!.

Thankyou both, very much indeed

I'm frankly surprised there weren't any hidden gems in his first post! I'm sure he's just warming up.

Hello Everybody,

Just a question, I am using jAlbum Version 22, "Tools|External Tools|Batch make albums" seems to have disappeared, when I dont know, but when needed its a very useful tool to have available.

Any idea where I might find it ?

Many Thanks, Peter

It's a new/moved feature, called "Multi Maker", look here: "https://jalbum.net/no/software/release-notes"
