Hello I'm French. Be cool with me ;) !

Watch the video and see the big path the mouse takes. It is not at all ergonomic. She's going to die of fatigue because the way is so long!

In the video, I decrease the screen size so that the way is shorter.

I offer 5 suggestions :

-1- Remove the "cancel" button which is useless. If we go to the next image without doing "ok" ... it means that we cancel the previous modification.

-2- Create shortcuts under the icons (I put a photo as an example). In the video it would be crtl + 7 (ok?)

-3- Move the OK button next to the shortcuts (or add an icon after the others . No need to search for the button ... at Katmandu)

-4- Work in batches. Select several images and do ctrl + 7 and it's finished

-5- Take a beer for me !

Have a nice day. I hope you understand suggestions

Thank you for these suggestions. We should definitively consider them.

Note: There is a quick way to batch-apply image tools like these to several images: Perform the action to one image, then return to explore view and right click the image you just added auto-correct to and select "Image tools->Copy". Now multi-select the target images and right click and select Image tools->Paste.

Question : If I try a parameter (exemple : Gamma) and I valid it and close JAlbum, it's possible to go back ? To delete an action from the day before (or other day !)

Sorry to post my question here, I have not see in the forum but it's difficult to foind for me, my english is bas (but google translate not !)

Best regards !

You can get help from the wiki pages, though you might need to use Google translate. The other option is to try danamel's French version.

Hi again Moxa,
I played a bit with jAlbum's image tools. Although they could benefit from an update, here's a tip that will save you much mouse movements: Use Enter to confirm an image tool and ESC to back out from an image tool. This way you don't need to move the mouse to the Ok and cancel buttons if you quickly wish to apply image tools to several images.

2 years later ...

Look only first message and MP4

ergonomics is always the same, I killed 6 mouse ...
do you think of improving it for shorter and more convenient paths. The tools are not ideally positioned. I think.
In any case, I sincerely believe that the presentation of the work can be improved.
But I still love Jalbum so much!

Best regards from France - Bordeaux
Alain

Happy new year of course

Did you try hitting Enter on your keyboard to quickly apply a tool?

Do you know that you can use Settings->Effects->Auto to apply auto correction to all images? (You can selectively exclude a minor amount of images from this effect by right clicking those thumbnails and deselect Effects->Auto.
