It turns out that the sequence of the arguments makes a difference.

If you just want to remove the audio from an MP4, you can use the NoPages skin, which won't do anything else (i.e., no album is produced), and change the Video tab settings to match the attached screenshot.

Then you can use that video in another project, and let jAlbum process it along with all the others in the project.

Even easier :)
I have added the code I pasted above to the wiki page linked previously - it should be easier to find in the far far future.

Great page! What about personal Wiki pages? These are encouraged by openSUSE contributers:

Can this be done with JAMWiki too?

Karl, I branched and moved this from Video without sound forum to Jalbum’s Website as it is a separate question.

Really, it is a question for David and Anders to answer, though I would expect as long as pages and their content relate directly to Jalbum it would be fine. In effect that is what I do a lot, but I just expand the wiki with pages that are not identified explicitly as being ‘mine’. I guess I could create a page titled ‘RobM’s stuff’ and link other pages to it, but that just makes duplication of content more likely.

Examples of ‘new pages’ created by me that are not explicitly about the jAlbum application (but definately about jAlbum):
https://jalbum.net/help/en/Code_Snippets
https://jalbum.net/help/en/Console_Snippets
https://jalbum.net/help/en/Creating_a_custom_user_interface
https://jalbum.net/help/en/JAlbum/Where_are_my_files

Would it really have helped potential readers of the wiki if I created and grouped them under a user page, or is it easier to find that content by just integrating it into the wiki as just another page?

It would really help to have: https://jalbum.net/User:RobM/Code_Snippets # personal project

instead of: https://jalbum.net/help/en/Code_Snippets # Code Manual

Personal information can be concise (cheat sheet). The code manual needs to be more comprehensive. I was indeed wondering about Code_Snippets.

The code snippets are actually curated from the skin development forums, most are from old pages that have been removed as the actual bulk of the posts are no longer relevant. In that sense they are not personal to me as an individual, they belong to the original posters and have been credited as such.

I have not, as far as I can see, created any documentation that could be considered personal. I actually created new subjects to fill in holes in the ‘established’ documentation. I see everything I do as expanding or supplementing the ‘Manual’, in fact about 95% of edits in the last year or so are mine (excluding skin specific entries).

As I said, it is for David and Anders to decide what is and is not acceptable. That said, I think having, for example, a single code snippets page better than having Rob’s, Karl’s, David’s, Laza’s pages each having code snippets.

Post your pages and see what happens.

Will this be ok?

http://jalbum.net/help/en/Manuals/Users:kmistelberger/Installation

I plan to have more pages such as Project, Workflow and some more.

David and Anders are both on holiday this week, so I would wait until next week before adding any further content.
