Yes, not good to disable caching. You should always be able to clear your browser cache if you're trying to test changes. Usually, a CTRL-F5 is enough to shake things loose, though if you're testing something on a smartphone, it can be more challenging to clear things out.

I have no idea what asp would have to do with all of this - that usually refers to ASP.NET, which is purely a Windows hosting thing, and you're on regular Linux/Apache.

We may never know. Life is full of these imponderables. ;)
